Steven McQuirk also shot 77 for Carson. Tim Hohl and J.T. Cockerill shot 83 and Chad Gilmore 85 to round out the team scoring for the Senators. Andrew Meyer shot a non-scoring 88.
Galena had all six of its players break 80. In addition to Kafchinski and McElroy, Morgan Goff and Dan Wittlinger shot 76, while Matt Kinsinger and Pat Flynn shot 77.
Douglas finished eighth at 426, led by Eddie Shope's 80.
Next up is the Northern 4A Regional Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Dayton Valley Country Club. Play begins at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday and 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
The tournament was originally scheduled to be held at the Lake Tahoe Country Club in South Lake Tahoe, but officials announced on Thursday that the site is being moved to Dayton due wet grounds from recent storms.
