Visitors can now use one pass (the Golden Eagle Passport) for all federal recreational sites, nationwide.
The Golden Eagle Passport is available for $50, is non-transferable, and is valid for a full year from the time of purchase.
In addition to the Golden Eagle Passport, there are two other Golden Passports that provide benefits to cardholders.
The Golden Age Passport is a $10, lifetime national pass, available to citizens or permanent residents of the United States who are at least 62 years of age.
In addition to the benefits provided by the Golden Eagle Passport, the Golden Age Passport also provides a 50 percent discount at many campgrounds, developed boat launches and swimming sites, and for specialized interpretive services.
The Golden Access Passport is a free, lifetime national pass available to citizens or permanent residents of the United States who have been medically determined to be blind or permanently disabled.
The Golden Access Passport provides the same benefits as the Golden Age Passport.
Golden Passports are available at most U.S. Forest Service offices.
Note: The Golden Passports DO NOT apply at any of the California or Nevada state parks.
