A funeral for Ralph L. Aalseth, 75, a Carson City resident for the past 12 years, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Aalseth died May 21, 2003, in Carson City. He was born Feb. 28, 1928, in Mitchell, S.D.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Eugene, Ore., for 30 years.
Mr. Aalseth was long associated with aircraft, and he was an A and P Mechanic I.A. He was the former owner and operator of Raamco Air Motive Inc., in Eugene.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Among his survivors are his wife of 55 years, Ruth, of Carson City; sons and daughters-in-law Edward and Patricia of Albuquerque, N.M., and Douglas and Marsha of Minneapolis, Minn., daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Ron Albers, of Portland, Ore.; brothers Earl, of Billings, Mont., and Sidney, of Sturgis, S.D., and sister Carol Peterson of Denver, Colo.
Burial will be in the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
