Willie Bowman leads Sun Devils to victory

Carson High's Willie Bowman doubled and homered for the Sierra Sun Devils baseball team in its 12-1 win over the Northwest Royals.

The Sun Devils are off to a 2-0 start as they also beat the Reed Rangers 5-1. Against the Royals, Bowman had three RBI and his home run was a walk-off shot in the fifth inning.

His two-run homer ended the game due to the 10-run rule. Dayton's Matt Bowman also plays for the Sun Devils.
