A memorial service for George B. Warner III, 59, a Carson City resident for the past 23 years, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hilltop Community Church, 3616 N. Sunridge Drive.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Mr. Warner died Nov. 1, 2003, in Churchill County. He was born April 3, 1944, in Waterbury, Conn., to George Bernard II and Lilyan P. Onofreo Warner.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Los Angeles.
Mr. Warner owned Warner Plumbing and Heating. He enjoyed riding his Harley and dirt bike. He enjoyed people. He was a member of Hilltop Community Church.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Among his survivors are his wife, Donna of Carson City; mother of Minden; sons Daniel Warner of Santa Monica, Calif., and Kenny Claypool of Lomita, Calif.; daughter, Gloria Warner Gibson of Culver City, Calif.; godson, Logan Cohen of Incline Village; sisters LaReine Bournique of Tulelake, Calif., Lynn Smith of Minden, Celeste Wiles of Snellville, Ga., and Twila Highan of Mission Viejo, Calif.; and grandson, Matthew Gibson of Culver City.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
