Longtime Gardnerville resident Frank W. Bondietti, 72, died Nov. 5, 2003, at home. He was born May 17, 1931, in San Rafael, Calif., to William and Angelina Brocco Bondietti.
Mr. Bondietti enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was a graduate of Tomales High School. He and his first wife, Mary, moved to Lake Tahoe in 1959 with their three children.
Mr. Bondietti owned and operated the Fond Du Lac Motel, Restaurant and Apartments.
He moved to Gardnerville in the late 1970s with his second wife, Connie. He worked for National Oil and Burner as a manager for 35 years. He also operated and managed the family dairy in Point Reyes, Calif.
He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Connie.
Among his survivors are his mother, Angelina Guidotti; brother and sister-in-law, William and Dolores; first wife and mother of his children, Mary Bondietti; son, Frank Jr.; daughters Linda Bondietti and Karen Musgrove; one granddaughter; and one nephew.
No services will be held.
