Services are 7 p.m. Tuesday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home Chapel of Faith for Tamara Renee "Tammy" Schmerber, 42, who died at her home in Mound House on Nov. 25, 2003.
Mrs. Schmerber was born Oct. 17, 1961, to James and Madelyn Jo Long Bowers. She served in the U.S. Navy for eight years.
She lived in the Carson City area for the past seven years coming from San Diego, Calif. She enjoyed computers.
Mrs. Schmerber is survived by a son, Christopher Todd of Mound House; two daughters, Jacqueline Marie and Amanda Nicole of Mound House; parents James and Madelyn of Carson City; brother James Bowers Jr. of Tucson, Ariz.; sisters Deborah Bower of Carson City and Jody Davis of Nashville, Tenn.; maternal gramdmother Gladys Long of Garrettsville, Ohio.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
