William A. Wilson died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003 in Gardnerville, Nev. He was 71.
At Mr. Wilson's request, there will be no services.
Mr. Wilson was born June 18, 1932 in Altoona, Penn. He was married to Shirley Bailey Wilson. He worked as a homicide investigator for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for more than 30 years, retiring in 1987.
He is a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed golfing and softball. He was a Methodist.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Shirley Wilson of Gardnerville, sons Terry Wilson of Glenwood Springs, Colo. and Butch Wilson of Puyallup, Wash., daughters Ellen Warren of Stillwater, Okla., Sandra Huckfelt of Campbell, Neb., Louann Chavez of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Tammy Wilson of Las Vegas and his brother, Dude Wilson of Torrance, Calif. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
