Margaret Louise Utt

Margaret Louise Utt, 77, died Nov. 26, 2003, at Long Term Care of South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington.

She was born in Milwaukee to Fred and Marion Dathe. She moved to California at age 21.

She married Jack W. Hedrick in Vallejo, Calif., in 1950.

She worked in office management for more than 10 years. She became homesick and returned to Milwaukee and worked as an executive secretary for more than 15 years. She loved to dance and sing.

She married Ralph Utt in Reno in 1982. He preceded her in death in 1996.

Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Kathryn Hedrick of Watertown, Wis.; sisters and brothers-in-law Herbert and Marion Bigalk and Marion and James Hintz; grandchildren Tracy Stevens, Jennifer Oman, Jack Hedrick Jr., Krysti Turbin, Scott Hedrick and Jodi Hedrick; six great-grandchildren; and special friends Marie and Lynn Valentino.

A funeral was Monday at Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home with the Rev. Juan Salinas officiating. She was buried next to her husband, Ralph at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
