Ralph Ari Keith, 55, a Carson City resident for the past 31 years, died Oct. 3, 2003, in Carson City. He was born July 30, 1948, in Willits, Calif., to Henry A. and Sophia Keith.
He graduated from Cloverdale High School in Cloverdale, Calif., in 1966.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Cloverdale.
Mr. Keith was a carpenter.
He served for four years in the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Vega, off the coast of Vietnam, at sea for 31U2 years.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1970 in Carson City and his mother in 1995 in Reno.
Among his survivors are his sister, Kim Proctor of Minden; nieces Kim Barela of Winnemucca and Kelly Torres of Nampa, Idaho; and a grand-niece and -nephew.
At his request, no service will be held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
