Obituary: Vickie Lee McEntire

A memorial service for Vickie Lee McEntire, 47, a Carson City resident for the past 20 years, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Bowers officiating.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's.

Mrs. McEntire died Oct. 19, 2003, in Tonopah of a brain tumor. She was born Oct. 4, 1956, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Charles and Polly Scott Stewart.

She was a waitress at the Cracker Box Restaurant for 16 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening, rock- and arrowhead hunting and motorcycle riding.

Among her survivors are her daughter, Jessica Lynn McEntire; grandsons Robert Timothy Barlow and Justin Davis Barlow; and granddaughters Jade Victoria Sanchez and Shea Lea Sanchez, all of Carson City.

Memorial contributions to help with expenses may be made to Javelins, 306 E. William St., Carson City 88701.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
