A common mistake made by many golfers is going on to the golf course thinking that you can correct your swing while playing. This leads to playing the golf swing instead of golf. Instead of tinkering with the swing simply play with what you brought that day. Focus on a balanced, rhythmic swing and pick realistic targets -- aim for the middle of the green instead of the pin.
The next time you play golf think of swinging to the finish position and maintaining balance. You will find that you hit more solid and straighter shots.
