Salvatore Adragna, 80, a Carson City resident for the past two years, died Sept. 8, 2003, in Carson City. He was born March 7, 1923, in Palermo, Italy, to Matteo and Marianna Vitrano Adragna.
He was a high school graduate.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Highland, Calif.
Mr. Adragna was a welder in a fabricating plant and owned and operated an Italian bakery and grocery in San Gabriel, Calif., for 10 years. He was a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marianna, on Sept. 3, 2003.
Among his survivors are his children Mary Ventriglia, Jo Hensley and Roseanne Cusumano, all of Carson City; grandchildren Anthony and Angelica Adragna, Jennifer Welch, Nicholas DeNardo, Ricky Hensley and Joey Cusumano; and great-granddaughter Danielle Welch.
A graveside service will be in Ontario, Calif., with entombment next to his wife.
