Fernley golf pro Don Boyle struggled to a 10th place finish at the Northern California Senior Open Championship on Wednesday in Patterson, Calif.
Boyle finished with a three-round total of 220. He fired a 6-over-par 78 on Wednesday.
He was the first round leader after shooting a 6-under 66 on Monday and was still in third after two rounds when he shot a 4-over 76 on Tuesday. Larry Babica of Arnold, Calif., won the title with a 213 (69-70-74).
Bob Marshall of Los Gatos, Calif., a former Edgewood Tahoe assistant pro, placed seventh after finishing with a 217 (68-72-77).
