A funeral for Earl S. Rosencrantz, 55, a Dayton resident for the past 24 years, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Dayton, 304 Driftwood Way.
Visitation will be there from 10-10:30 a.m. Friday.
Mr. Rosencrantz died Sept. 15, 2003, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Nov. 20, 1947, in Torrance, Calif., to Maurice S. and Lora Johnson Rosencrantz.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Torrance.
Mr. Rosencrantz had been a heavy-equipment operator. He loved working on race cars.
Among his survivors are his son, David, and daughter, Lora Hall, both of Dayton; sisters Shirley and Sondra Rosencrantz of Harbor City, Calif., and Linda Cooper of Hesperia, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Burial will be at the Dayton Cemetery.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
