The Dayton High volleyball team swept two matches over the weekend, winning at Lowry and Spring Creek.
Dayton (4-0, 3-0 in the Northern 3A) defeated Lowry 25-15, 25-18, 22-25, 25-16 and beat Spring Creek 25-12, 25-16, 25-15.
Against Lowry, Carey Kytle had 10 kills and 11 blocks, Amanda Ring had 20 digs, seven kills, two blocks and served for four points, Sarah Connett served for 23 points and had 26 assists, eight digs and two kills, April Thompson had three kills and three digs, Danielle Rodriguez served for six points and had nine digs, Amanda Sbragia had nine kills and 11 blocks, Bridgette Galles had four points, four kills, five blocks, five assists and seven digs, Tricia Moli had six kills, Vienna Cabrita served for 15 points and had five digs and Natalie Malekos served for six points and had 10 digs.
Against Spring Creek, Michelle Bowman had four assists and five digs, Kytle had 11 kills and five blocks, Ring served for four points and had six digs, Connett served for five points and had 20 assists and nine digs, Thompson had three kills, Rodriguez served for three points and had nine digs, Sbragia had 10 kills, eight blocks and four digs, Nicole Greer had four digs, Bridgett Galles served for seven points and two aces and had nine digs, Moli had three kills, Cabrita served for 10 points and had four digs and Malekos served for 15 points and two aces and had 12 digs.
In the freshmen and junior varsity matches, Dayton lost to Lowry and Spring Creek.
