The Carson High volleyball team rolled to a 25-9, 25-11, 25-15 win over North Valleys on Tuesday at home.
"We stayed focused," Carson coach Daryl James said. "We're playing pretty well.
"I'm happy with where we're at. We just have to keep getting better. We're on schedule."
Kaitlin Brush had 10 kills and served for seven aces, Tabitha Adams had 26 assists, Adrienne Fletcher had four kills and served for four aces, Nicole Scott and Catherine Brekken each had four kills and Melanie Norvell and Colleen Etcheverria added two kills for Carson.
GALENA 3, FALLON 0
Galena made itself the early favorite to claim the Northern 4A's one spot into the state championships with a 27-25, 25-19, 25-18 win in a match between two Northern 4A powers.
Julia Mailander had 10 kilks and five digs, Jenny Burrows had nine kills, Chelsea Appelbaum had six kills and served for two aces, three blocks and 10 digs, Melissa Reaney and Kaitlin Zuppan each had three blocks, Michelle Drury had six kills and served for two aces and Kate Wallace had 32 assists, three blocks and four digs for Galena (20-4, 2-0 in league).
