DAYTON -- Lyon County police are looking for two men who allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl as she walked home.

According to Detective Cherie Rye, the girl was walking the block between her friend's home and her own in downtown Dayton on Sept. 13 when she was forced into a truck by two men.

The men drove the girl to a remote location and sexually assaulted her in an abandoned trailer before driving her back to her neighborhood, Rye said.

"She had injuries consistent with being assaulted," Rye said.

The girl estimated the time she was gone to be about two hours.

Rye said investigators were unable to uncover any clues to the suspects' whereabouts and have asked the public for assistance.

One man is described as 35 to 40 years old, with short dark hair, a big nose, a heavy build and shaved eyebrows. The second man is described as 18 to 20 years old, with short dark hair longer than the first suspect's, brown eyes, skinny, with no eyebrows.

The men, both described as Hispanic, were last seen in a white older model Toyota truck in good condition with very dark tinted windows, two angel stickers and three cross stickers on the rear window, a moon roof, a red novelty license plate with "Nevada" on the top and a chain license plate.

"The vehicle should be easy to spot if someone were to see it," Rye said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lyon County Sheriff's Department detective division at 575-5026 or Lyon County dispatch at 577-5023.
