Jerome B. White, 75, a Carson City resident for the past 34 years, died April 10, 2004, in Carson City. He was born June 27, 1928, in Beatrice, Neb., to Jesse and Lavona Gordon White.

Mr. White was owner-operator of Whites Cycles of Carson City and Gardnerville for more than 20 years and sold the business in 1995.

He was involved in motorcycle sports and the off-road community. He enjoyed local youths and motorcycling. He was a member of Kiwanis at South Lake Tahoe and the Pine Nut Trail Association in Carson City. He also enjoyed snow skiing and hiking the Tahoe Rim Trail.

Among his survivors are his daughters Lavona Gelardi of Woodland, Calif., Ramona Blankenship of Anderson, Calif., and Jaime White of Carson City; brothers Donovan L. of Hemet, Calif., and Rodric of Southern California; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Happy Homestead Cemetery at South Lake Tahoe.

A memorial service will be at a later date.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
