A graveside service for Nila Lorene Dahna, 68, a Dayton resident for the past 17 years, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Northern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Fernley.
Mrs. Dahna died April 11, 2004, at University Medical Center in Las Vegas. She was born July 14, 1935, in Lynwood, Calif., to George and Thelma Basinger Furman.
Before moving to Dayton, she lived in California in Avenal, Lynwood, Bakersfield, Taft, Ojai and Ventura.
Mrs. Dahna was a homemaker. She enjoyed her daughters, painting, animals, and raising, training and breeding dogs. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Eldon Nov. 21, 2002; mother Oct. 17, 1997; and father June 2, 1986.
Among her survivors are her daughters Rhoena Elizabeth Neff of Bakersfield and Thresa May Zylstra of Dayton; and grandsons Robert Mitchell Savage of Dayton and Cole Edward Neff, Connor Roy Neff and Cade Thomas Neff, all of Bakersfield.
