A memorial service for Rodney P. Biddleman, 78, of Yerington will be at 7 p.m. today at the Community United Methodist Church, 221 N. Main St., Yerington, with the Rev. Juan Salinas officiating.
Mr. Biddleman died April 24, 2004, at South Lyon Medical Center.
He was a firefighter for 30 years in Larkspur and Kentfield, Calif. After moving to Carson City in 1973, he was chief of security for the Carson City Nugget.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Among his survivors are his wife, Judith and sons Ronald Biddleman and Bud Stinson, all of Yerington; daughters Jane Belez of Yerington and Jessica Crawford of Great Falls, Mont.; brothers and sisters-in-law Mark and Debbie Arrighi of Yerington and Brian and Vickie Butcher of Sebastopol, Calif.; and 14 grandchildren.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
