A graveside service for Doris M. Geiger, 77, a Carson City resident for the past 13 years, will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Geiger died April 27, 2004, in Carson City. She was born July 24, 1926, in Oregon to Daniel and Ethel Magill Livingston.
She married Merle Geiger Sr. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Vancouver, Wash.
Mrs. Geiger worked as a PBX operator for the railroad industry. She was a member of the Emblem Club in Vancouver. She was an avid bowler and bowled in numerous leagues. She also taught junior bowlers while in Vancouver.
Among her survivors are her sons Merle Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas, and William of Camas, Wash.; daughters Lori Coveau and Diana Geiger, both of Carson City, and Terri Geiger of Vancouver; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
