Ronald R. Staveley, 61, a Dayton resident for the past seven years, died July 31, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 1942, in Glendale, Calif., to Charles E. and Margaret Gladine Staveley.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Southern California.
Mr. Staveley was head of manufacturing airport operations in the aerospace industry. He was a founding member of the Chinese Banquet Association in Southern California. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed reading.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 2002.
Among his survivors are his wife of 35 years, Edyth, of Dayton; father, of Southern California; and brothers Don of Glendale and Michael John of Sunland, Calif.
No services are scheduled at this time.
