A funeral Mass for Mabel Lippertz, 91, a Riverbank, Calif., resident and former resident of Topaz Ranch Estates for 16 years, was held Thursday at St. John's Catholic Church in Smith Valley.
Mrs. Lippertz died Aug. 6, 2004, in Turlock, Calif. She was born Feb. 1, 1913, in Koloa, Kawaii, to Louis and Ida Almeida Teves.
She married Walter Lippertz Oct. 15, 1932, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He preceded her in death in 1986.
Mrs. Lippertz was a former member of the Sage Hens and an active member of St. John's Catholic Church.
Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Henry Lopez of Riverbank, Calif.; son, John of Santa Rosa, Calif.; sisters Janie Roach of Topaz Ranch Estates, Hilda Marie Perry of Fremont, Calif., and Dorothy Perreira of San Lorenzo, Calif.; grandchildren Margo Golberg, Elizabeth Marchus and Mark Lopez; seven great-granddaughters and one great-great-granddaughter.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Smith Valley.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
