A service for Marian Estelle Bull, a Carson Valley native, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church on Centerville Road in Gardnerville.
A graveside service will be at Mottsville Cemetery with a reception to follow at the church.
Mrs. Bull died Aug. 17, 2004, in Yerington. She was born Feb. 14, 1922, in Gardnerville, to William and Mary Heimsoth Gansberg.
She spent her childhood in Sheridan on the west side of Carson Valley and later attended schools in Gardnerville before graduating from Douglas High School in 1940.
She attended business school in Reno before returning to Carson Valley
She married Ira Bull and they settled in Centerville.
She was a homemaker. She became the unofficial secretary to the mayor of Centerville (the late Roy Storke) as they organized the annual Centerville Nights celebrations.
Among her survivors are her daughter Nancy and granddaughter Heidi Brown and great-grandchildren Scott and Cody Brown of Reno; son Ernie and grandchildren Ernest, James and Bobby Bull of Gardnerville; son Elmer of Yerington and grandchildren Allison and Wayne Bull stationed in Frankfurt, Germany, with the U.S. Air Force, and many nieces and nephews.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
