A celebration of life for Carol Jagoda, a Carson City resident for the past 36 years, will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at 624 Tuscarora Way in Carson City. Call 882-5265 for directions.
Mrs. Jagoda died Aug. 19, 2004. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.
She worked for many years as an executive administrative secretary for Southwest Gas. She retired in 1993 and spent her time attending plays, concerts and shows. She loved cultural events, hiking in the mountains and swimming in Lake Tahoe. She was an avid reader and volunteered for the Carson City Literacy Program and was a member of Toastmasters.
Among her survivors are her mother, Dorothy Ludel; son and daughter-in-law Jesse and Denise Jagoda; son, Neil Jagoda; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Larry Gahr and grandson, Brian Jagoda.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charitable animal organization of your choice.
Capitol City Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
