S&S Motorsports will premiere their newly designed sprint car Saturday at the Trigueiro Classic race at Madera Speedway in Madera, Calif.
The annual race has featured supermodified racecars, but organizers this year changed the race to feature USAC and other sprint cars in a 100-lap feature event on the 1/3-mile asphalt oval.
Troy Regier of Dinuba, Calif. is the driver of the S&S Motorsports supermodified and will be the driver of the sprint car. This will be Regier's first asphalt race in a sprint car.
However, Regier is a favorite to finish in the top-5 or win, which he has done twice before. He also considers Madera Speedway his hometown track.
The supermodifed racecars will be featured at Madera Speedway's final race of the season Sept. 18.
