A funeral for Robert Edwin Moyer, 69, a Carson City resident for the past 17 years, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley, followed by burial at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Mr. Moyer died Aug. 22, 2004, in Carson City. He was born Jan. 14, 1935, in Courtland, N.Y., to Milford Clyde and Charlotte Moyer.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Tulare, Calif.
Mr. Moyer enjoyed woodworking, reading, model airplaning, collecting stamps and flying. He loved his dogs.
Among his survivors are his wife of 28 years, Regena Ann of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Cassandra of Carson City; and grandchildren Frank, Jayden and Gauge.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
