A celebration of life for Teri M. Butler, 45, a Dayton resident for the past four years, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Stewart Baptist Church in Carson City.
Mrs. Butler died Aug. 22, 2004, at home of breast cancer. She was born April 2, 1959, in California to Thomas and Judith Linker Butler.
Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Carson City and Hawaii.
Mrs. Butler was a massage therapist. For the last five years, she was an member of Alcoholics Anonymous. She loved animals and enjoyed hiking, mountain biking, the outdoors and wildlife.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Among her survivors are her husband, Rex Furr of Dayton; mother, Judy Christofferson of Edgewood, N.M.; brother, Joshua Mosshart of California; sister, Debbie Odegaard of Corona, Calif.; grandparents Marie "Mama" and Jake Morehouse of Carson City; aunt and uncle Margaret and Lee Smith; and cousin, Lyle Smith.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
