Evelyn M. Simon, 81, a Wellington resident for the past 13 years, died Aug. 23, 2004, at home. She was born Nov. 3, 1922, in Spring Grove, Wis., to Charles and Ada Walker.
She moved to San Diego during World War II and lived there for 43 years. She moved to Nevada in 1991.
Mrs. Simon loved fishing, camping, dancing, reading and her family.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert and Ralph.
Among her survivors are her husband Charles "Bill" of Wellington; daughter Patricia Cole of Pleasanton, Calif.; son Stephen, of Temecula, Calif.; sister Harriet McLand of La Mesa, Calif.; and grandchildren Mike, Scott, Jenifer, Heather and Stephanie.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
