Caitlin Anderson scored all 16 of her points in the first half as the Galena girls basketball team breezed to a 73-21 win over South Tahoe on Tuesday.
Anderson didn't play in the second half, but Galena still outscored the Vikings 31-6 in the final two quarters. Galena also outscored South Tahoe 9-0 in the fourth quarter.
Galena broke open the game in the second quarter when it outscored the Vikings 22-4 to take a 42-15 halftime lead. Also for Galena, Caitlin Croft had 12 points, six assists and six steals and Dominic Pavich had eight points, four assists and four steals.
