A celebration of life for Othrine Juanita Warne, 84, a Carson City resident for the past 30 years, will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Mrs. Warne died Dec. 9, 2004, after a long battle with cancer. She was born May 17, 1920, in Peach Orchard, Ark., to Albert and Dollie Graham.
Before living in Carson City, she lived in Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Colorado, Nevada, Wyoming and California.
Mrs. Warne worked in the nursing field and for the Los Angeles County School District. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, quilting, reading, listening to country music and caring for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John David, in 1988.
Among her survivors are her sisters Edith Chism of Jonesborough, Ark., Wanda Bean of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Carma Mannon of St. Peters, Mo.; sister-in-law Betty Warne of Los Angeles; daughters and sons-in-law Judy and Jim Finnerty of Jelm, Wyo., Susan and Philip Williamson of Minden; daughter Janet Warne of Hotchkiss, Colo.; and son and daughter-in-law Jim and Marcia of Carson City; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
