A memorial celebration for Ann M. Pottenger, 73, a Minden resident for the past 13 years, will be from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Jan. 6, 2005, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Carson City.
Mrs. Pottenger died Dec. 4, 2004, at home after a brief illness. She was born March 5, 1931, in Long Beach, Calif., to Arnold W. and Harriott Ann "NE" Wheelihan McKechnie.
Before moving to Minden, she lived in Arcadia, Calif.
Mrs. Pottenger was a librarian.
Among her survivors are her husband, Robert of Minden; sons John Jacobson of Houston and Will Harris of Yakima, Wash.; daughter, Jody Manuele of Phoenix; stepdaughters Maile Bales of Minden and Julie Clare of Temecula, Calif.; brother, Arnold W. McKechnie of Maryland; sisters Marion Flynn of Carson City and Marjorie Hughes of Arcadia; and 13 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Foundation Hospice Fund, 520 W. Sixth St., Reno, NV 89503-9911; to Parker Hughes Clinic, 2699 Patton Road, Roseville, MN 55113; or to a charity of choice.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
