A memorial service for Oswaldo Ramon Castillo-Iribe, 36, a Silver Springs resident for the past 18 years, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.
Mr. Castillo-Iribe died Jan. 23, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born March 19, 1967, in Mexico to Rosario Barraza and Zenaida Castillo.
Before moving to Silver Springs, he lived in Mexico.
Mr. Castillo-Iribe worked in the construction industry. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends.
Among his survivors are his longtime companion, Margie; mother of Mexico; sister, Filomena Smokey of Carson City; brother, Petronillo Castillo of Silver Springs; and nephews Brian, Kenton, Jacob, Roman, Lakoda and Zander.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
