The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- A 32-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 3:50 p.m. Thursday on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, and three counts of hit and run. She allegedly struck several cars in a parking lot in the 1900 block Highway 50 East. Her bail was set at $3,028.
- A 39-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 12 p.m. Thursday on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. His bail was set at $3,132.
- Matthew Susbury, 24, an electric worker from North Lake Tahoe, was arrested at 3:33 a.m. Friday on South Curry Street on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor petty larceny. He allegedly left $2.53 for $4.37 worth of items from 7-Eleven. According to the report, when a cab driver tried to use his cab to stop Susbury from driving out of the parking lot, he sped towards the cab. Susbury's bail was set at $22,597.
Deputies responded to the following calls:
- A report at 7:36 a.m. of a white substance found in a machine in the 3800 block of Highway 50 East.
- A report at 8:29 a.m. Friday in the 2800 block of Menlo Drive of a vehicle vandalized with spray paint.
- A report at 3:38 p.m. Thursday of an antique clock in the lobby of St. Teresa Church missing.
- A woman reported at 5:01 p.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of Monte Rosa Drive that a man approached a 10-year-old girl, shook her hand and demanded money. He was last seen running through a park. Police were unable to locate a suspect.
