The Carson Bulldog wrestling team had another strong showing in a tournament it hosted at Carson Middle School, sending 30 wrestlers to the finals.
Thirteen Bulldog wrestlers won titles while 17 placed second. More than 350 wrestlers from Nevada and California participated. The Bulldogs led all teams in first, second and third place finishes.
Those who placed first were: William Lee, Bryce Moyle, Matthew Berret, Cody Cunningham, Brandon Maffei, Kyle Sharp, Matthew Tarter, Kaleb Wold, Nicolas Gracia, Brandon James, Willy McDonald, Ricky McDonald and David Nuebel.
Those who placed second were: Kyle Catlin, Brandon Davidson, Travis Derley, Sabien Harting, Bryce James, Todd Lani, Nolan Shine, Jorge Ariel Gutierrez, Nicholas Lani, Cole McCarthy, Todd Banko, Micah Chalk, Blake Davidson, Anthony Pisani, Anthony Altamirano, Kelly Manning and Eric Wilcoxson.
Others who placed were: Colby Brown, third; Nicholas Garrett, fourth; Nathanial Poole, fourth; Brady O'Keefe, third; Christian Tercero, fourth; Sam Blei, fourth; Austin Brown, third; Jonah Chalk, fifth; Nevin Elliott, third; Riley Hutchings, fourth; Jordan Luhrs, sixth; Nolan Truesdell, third.
Pat Craugh, third; Chris Derrick, sixth; Jorge Albert Gutierrez, sixth; Garrett Manoukian, fourth; Mick Poole, third; Andrew Toland, fifth; Aaron Joloover, third; Max Schadeck, fifth; Garret Truesdell, third; Michael Wilcoxson, third; and Doug Lipke, third.
The Bulldogs will compete in another tournament, beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday at Reed High.
