Eva Kyriakopoulos, a resident of Minden for the past six years, died Jan. 15, 2004, in Minden. She was 80. She was born March 11, 1923, in Quebec, Canada, to Joseph and Georgiana Martinneau Boulet.
She attended high school in Canada. She married Steve Kyriakopoulos Jan. 29, 1949, in Montreal, Canada.
Prior to moving to Minden she lived at Lake Tahoe for 12 years and in several California cities including San Francisco, Redwood City, Sacramento and Los Altos.
She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in South Lake Tahoe.
Among her survivors are her husband of Minden; daughter Linda Kyriakopoulos of Gardnerville; son and daughter-in-law Steve Jr. and Edith Kyriakopoulos of Carson City; and six grandchildren.
At her request no services will be held.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
