Linda J. Stumbaugh, 50, a Gardnerville resident for the past 11 years, died Jan. 14, 2004, at her home. She was born Feb. 21, 1953, in Bloomington, Ill., to Hubert and Catherine Ellis Hall.
She married Jerry Stumbaugh Dec. 16, 1969, in Orange County, Calif.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Arizona.
Mrs. Stumbaugh was a homemaker. She loved her children and grandchildren and was very talented and creative.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother David Hubert Hall and sister Judith Ann Hall.
Among her survivors are her husband of Gardnerville; sons Jerry of Las Vegas, Jimmy of Washington and Jake of Gardnerville; daughter, Julie Gore of Dayton; brothers Tom Hall of Beaumont, Calif., Rex Hall of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Mark Hall of Big Pine, Calif.; sisters Elaine Davis of Big Pine and Marilyn Baroman of Oklahoma; and grandchildren Dylan Gore of Dayton, and Eric and Mark Stumbaugh, both of Washington.
A private service will be at a later date.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
