David Lee Lawrence, 49, a Carson City resident for the past three years, died Jan. 12, 2004, in Carson City. He was born April 29, 1954, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Lewis David and Vera Elizabeth Foreman Lawrence.
He attended two years of college and two years of theology. He was an associate pastor.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Sacramento and Folsom, Calif.
He married Saundra on March 2, 1992, in Soledad, Calif.
Mr. Lawrence was a manufacturing supervisor.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Barbara and JoAnn; son, Michael; and stepson, Corey Hicks.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; stepdaughter, Wendy Hicks of Modesto, Calif.; and grandsons Uriah Gahr of Idaho, Cameron Hicks of Silver Springs and Marcus Kuhn Swanson of Gardnerville.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
