Yerington boys fall against Manogue

MANOGUE 71, YERINGTON BOYS 37

Manogue hit five threes on its way to take a 38-22 halftime lead and finished with seven threes against the Yerington boys basketball team. Yerington (12-7, 4-4) is still battling Lowry and Dayton for third in the Northern 3A and is in position to make the playoffs. Dylan Johnson scored 10 points and Tom Menesini added nine points for the Lions.

FERNLEY GIRLS 48, DAYTON 34

Kaylea Dunn scored 11 points, Walita Cuerta, Becky Murphy and Lacey LaVole all had seven points and Lisanna Davis and Kaliauni Harry added six points in the win for Fernley's girls basketball team. Amanda Sbragia scored 16 points for Dayton.
