A funeral service for Denise M. Dye-Santucci, a resident of Carson City for the past 26 years, was Tuesday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Mrs. Dye-Santucci died June 30, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Jan. 8, 1956, in Alameda, Calif., to James H. and Maybelle J. Accito Dye. She was 48.
Mrs. Dye-Santucci enjoyed NASCAR and animals. She attended St. Joseph's School in Pinole, Calif.; Pinole Valley and Del Campo high schools and Sacramento State University.
Prior to moving to Carson City, she lived in Northern California.
She was a Catholic.
Mrs. Dye-Santucci did clerical work for J.C. Penney Co. in Nevada and California for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by grandfathers Millard Dye and James T. Accito and grandmother Angeline Accito.
Among her survivors are her parents; sister, Cheryl Cheney and brother, James M. Dye, both of Carson City; nieces Nicole Cheney and Katrina Dye and nephew James Dye, all of Carson City; aunts Margie Collins, Marian Currel and Margaret Lowry of California; uncles Bud Dye of California and Pete Accito of Washington; great-uncle August Zucco of California; great-aunt Viola Accito of California; cousins John and Debbie Marsh and Tom and Chuck Lowry, all of California;, and best friend Melinda Tatro and family.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
