Edward K. Oeck

Edward K. Oeck, 76, a Carson City resident for the past 14 years, died July 2, 2004, at Evergreen Care Center. He was born Dec. 17, 1927, in Spokane, Wash., to Edward J. and Madalyn Bechtol Oeck.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in California.

Mr. Oeck served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed recreation and friends at Ed's Dog House.

Among his survivors are his mother, Madalyn Oeck and sister, Shirley Lampe, both of Newcastle, Calif.; brother, Robert C. of Portland, Ore.; and companion, Joyce Dezzutti of Carson City.

Burial will be at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley at a later date.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
