Alan Douglass, 91, an Escondido, Calif., resident for the past three months, died July 18, 2004.
No services are scheduled.
Mr. Douglass was born March 19, 1913, in Berkeley, Calif. He was a former resident of Hollister, Calif.
He retired in 1974 after 35 years as an executive for Safeway.
Among his survivors are his nieces, Barbara Martinez of Gardnerville, Teri Ward of Irvine, Calif., and Linda Douglass of Washington, D.C., and brothers Dave F. of Gardnerville and Robert Douglass of Maryland.
Alhiser-Comer Mortuary in Escondido is in charge of arrangements.
