Madge E. 'Susie' Clark

A funeral Mass for Madge E. "Susie" Clark, 81, a Yerington resident for more than 45 years, will be at 11 a.m. today at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Mrs. Clark died July 24, 2004, at the Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks. She was born June 22, 1923, in Pell City, Ala.

She married Joseph Clark. He preceded her in death Sept. 18, 1989.

Mrs. Clark did a great deal of volunteer work, was a Santa's helper for many years, had been director of the Senior Citizens Center, and worked at the lunch room at a high school.

Among her survivors are her sons Gerald and Leo; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Rosie Parker.

Burial will be next to her husband at the Valley View Cemetery.

Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home of Yerington is in charge of arrangements.
