Charles W. Ouilette Jr., 68, of Washoe Valley died June 15, 2004, at his home.
A private memorial service will be held.
Mr. Ouilette was born July 5, 1935, in Redding, Calif., to C.W. Ouilette Sr. and Margaret Parker Ouilette.
He was a retired heavy-equipment operator and a craftsman, working with wood, iron, machines and engines. After retirement, he enrolled in computer programming and CAD design college courses and enjoyed RVing, boating and fishing.
Mr. Ouilette was a member of the Carson Valley Masonic Lodge No. 33 in Gardnerville.
Among his survivors are his daughters Vicki Alvey of Florida, Charlene Shoemaker of Red Bluff, Calif., Diane Ouilette and Denise Ouilette of Carson City; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Cyril Ouilette of Carson City; sister, Mary Margaret Volk of Redding; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation is under the direction of Capitol City Cremation.
