The 2001 Galena graduate has been assigned to Casper, Wyo., a Rooking League team in the Pioneer League. The terms of the deal weren't disclosed, but it's likely that Hahn received a signing bonus in the $60,000 range.

Hahn was drafted in the ninth round by the Rockies. Joseph Muro a right-handed pitcher from Mt. San Antonio (Calif.) Community College, was the 255th pick overall in the ninth round and received a $60,000 signing bonus from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Hahn was the 260th overall pick.

At Galena, Hahn played outfield and was drafted as a third baseman by the Rockies. At Sac City, Hahn was named as an All-American and made the all-Bay Valley East Conference first team. During the regular season, Hahn hit .383 with seven home runs and 35 RBI in 36 games.
