Ralph Donohew, 67, a Silver Springs resident for the past 11 years, died June 24, 2004, at a Reno hospital. He was born March 31, 1937, in West Milford, W.Va., to Woodrow and Jeanne Faye Walker Donohew.
Before moving to Silver Springs, he lived in Southern California.
Mr. Donohew was a truck driver for more than 40 years and had worked for G.I. Trucking for the past 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanne Louise Donohew, Sept. 12, 1979.
He married Roberta Tait July 10, 1982.
Among his survivors are his wife; daughters Jeanne L. Thelander, Jennifer L. Kaylor and Janna L. Donohew, all of Sparks; stepsons Robert M. Tait, Matthew G. Tait and Timothy P. Tait, all of Southern California; stepdaughters Bernadette R. Stapleton, Amy E. Lloyd and Rebecca M. Nankivell, all of Southern California; brothers Gary R. of Dayton and Larry W. of California; sisters Connie Lou Gienapp, Carol E. Nemechek, Donna L. Stark and Pamela A. Donohew, all of Whittier, Calif.; and 18 grandchildren.
At his request, no service will be held.
