The Carson Senator Inline Hockey varsity team wrapped up a successful regular season by finishing unbeaten.
Carson won the Northern Nevada regular season title with an 11-0-1 record. Carson's varsity and junior varsity teams will now head into the postseason tournament to be held March 13 and 14 at Total Sports in Sparks. Carson's varsity and JV teams also won the preseason tournaments.

All the games were played at Total Sports and Carson coach Billy McHenry said he was pleased that his team was able to go unbeaten even though it in effect played all of its games on the road.
"Both teams have done a great job," said McHenry about the varsity and JV. "It was a wonderful season. I couldn't ask for much better."
Carson's leading scorers this season have been Charlie McQuarry, Ryan Dwer and Derek and Dustin Zastre. Carson's defense has been led by Bud Kop, Matt Miller, Jason Hastings, Mark Sassi, Colin Cormier, Todd Crowell, Steve Wear and goalie Steve Colorio.
McHenry noted that the program features various athletes from football and soccer players to skateboarders.
"It's kind of a mish-mash of the entire school," said McHenry, who also noted the program has a great deal of parent support. "We've got every kind of kid on the hockey team. You probably won't find more different personalities."
Carson's JVs and varsity will receive first round byes in the tournament. Carson's JVs will face the winner between Manogue and McQueen. Carson's two losses this season came against Manogue and Douglas.
If Carson makes it that far, it could face Douglas in the finals. Carson's varsity could also play Douglas in the semifinals.
