Longtime Nevada resident Bette Mays died March 2, 2004 at the Evergreen Care Center in Carson City. She was born April 23, 1920 in Ohio. She was 83.
Ms. Mays worked as a waitress and came to Carson City 20 years ago from Incline Village.
Among her survivors is her friend Emile G. Rutten of Carson City.
