Subject of Amber Alert captured

A man accused of abducting the 3-year-old subject of an Amber Alert was arrested this morning in Fallon after authorities issued a report he was spotted in Winnemucca.

Ernesto Cuanos, 23, was taken into custody in Fallon within two hours of the notification, which went out over television and radio.

The alert was issued at 8:30 a.m. after Cuanos and daughter Crytal were spotted. They were allegedly headed to Oxnard, Calif.

Crystal was taken from her home in Walla Walla, Wash., on Tuesday afternoon.
